Our whole family approach means that rather than just looking at the needs of the Carer, our support workers work with the family to identify the needs of all family members and put them in touch with services which can benefit everyone. This can include:

  • Information on how to receive a break either together or for the Carer to have time for themselves
  • Planning for an emergency
  • Access to different grants
  • Practical information on money and legal matters
  • Events and activities taking place in your area
  • Local volunteering schemes who can assist you
  • Putting you in touch with specialists on the condition of your family members, for instance Alzheimer’s UK, MIND, Equal Lives or the Norfolk Disabled Parents Alliance

Our joined up approach means that if you are a family member with Carers of different ages we work across our different services to ensure you are getting all the support you need from one organisation.
